Graduate School of Education (President Jea Bok Jun) received a ‘B’ rating,moving up 1 step in the evaluation by theTeacher Training Institution,consigned from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
According to the last evaluation, 37 colleges among a total of 40 targets of evaluationreceived a rating judgment of C or D, withthe exception being 3 graduate schools.If a school receives a C rating, it has to reduce by 50% the number of students per fostering teacher. If a school gets a D rating, itwill be givena strict administrative measure.Our Graduate School of Education can maintain the present fixed number without any administrative restrictionsbecause of the positive result of the evaluation this year.
After the evaluation in 2011, the Graduate School of Education developed special and effective education programs such as the Best Student and Teacher Competition, planningcourse-training camps to improve the evaluation indexesthrough the expansion of educational infrastructure, reinforcement of professors, and abolition of majors. Our school achieved recognition though this evaluation.
