Kookmin University (President Jeong Seung Ryul) announced on the 27th that the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center Bukhansan Valley (hereinafter referred to as the 'Center'), which is entrusted by Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi Kyung), signed a business agreement between the Korea Association of Entrepreneurship Guides and the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center to promote future cooperation.

The business agreement was signed at the 2024 5th Networking Event held at the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center, and the two organizations will continue to work closely together in the promotion of the Seoul Business Agency 2024 Seoul Startup Hub Merit Incubation Growth Partners Project (hereinafter referred to as the SBA Incubation Growth Partners Project), which is hosted by the Korea Association of Entrepreneurship Guides (Chairman Hwang Bo Yoon).

The SBA Incubation Growth Partners Project, organized by the Korea Association of Entrepreneurship Coaches, aims to provide a total of 20 startups, mainly located in the northwestern region of Seoul, with the following support: diagnosis of business model excellence or quantitative strategic direction; 1:1 mentoring support with patent attorneys for intellectual property rights protection; support for deriving product/service specifications based on customer impressions to increase sales; 1:1 mentoring support with venture capitalists to successfully attract investment; and intensive media and social media promotion support to increase sales through brand strengthening.

“The purpose of this business cooperation is to develop the startup ecosystem in the relatively backward northwestern region of Seoul,” said Kim Hyun Yi, deputy center director of the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center, who is in charge of cooperating with the Korea Association of Entrepreneurship Guides. “We expect management support for startup companies to be activated, especially in Eunpyeong-gu, through the support of the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency and cooperation with the Korea Association of Entrepreneurship Guides.”

Meanwhile, entrepreneurs who want to apply for the project can apply on the website of the Korea Entrepreneurship Guidance Association and the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center.
