Today, we stand on the threshold of a historic moment—the 80th anniversary of Kookmin University.
The past 80 years represent a proud legacy built through challenge, pioneering spirit, and a strong sense of community. These values have been the driving force behind what Kookmin University is today.

Now, we are at the beginning of a new journey toward our 100th anniversary. This is truly a golden time for Kookmin University to make a Quantum Jump.

Our university has already achieved a position within the top 13 in domestic university evaluations and is on the verge of entering the global top 300 rankings.
However, we will not stop here—we must move forward with even greater ambition.
Kookmin University will leap forward into being part of Korea’s major university group and, furthermore, a university that sets a new global standard in higher education.

To realize this vision, Kookmin University will move forward guided by seven core values:

A meaningful journey awaits us, including the launch of AI-based satellites, the establishment of the DBEW International Design Award, and the development of a unique 80th-anniversary typeface. These endeavors will serve as clear milestones as we prepare for the next 100 years.
