Jewelry Show [Journey into emotions]
The department of metal and jewelry's 14th jewelry show was held under the title, [Journey of emotions]. The show focused on expressing the four most important human emotions: life, illusion, fear, and bond. Through the journey into these four human emotions, it was designed to have the audience recognize those emotions often found in our lives as well as the creativity that went into each show piece.
The department of metal and jewelry opened its very first jewelry show under the subtitle, [Jewelry, beginning] in 1993. Now it's celebrating its 14th show and all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors were involved in every aspect of the show. All participants were put into six areas: production, directing, advertising, visual, set design, and clothing. The juniors and some of the sophomores were involved in the production of the show and the rest participated as models for the show.
Gho, Jae young, executive producer of the show said, "Under the command of the juniors, the sophomores and juniors designed the show pieces and the freshmen and sophomores did modeling. It was a wonderful opportunity for all of us to work together and get to know each other. The show definitely brought us much closer than ever. It also provided a great learning experience since most students don't get to do producing, designing and building a set, stage lighting, and choreographing.
