3. Global-buddy
   Global-buddy is an opportunity of being a close friend with foreign students in school overcoming cultural barriers and it is also a benefit Kookmin University is offering to the students as part of a voluntary service. Global-buddy is much more special in that cultural and language exchange with foreign students are done on one-on-one basis. This can be a great opportunity in that students can learn a new language and feel a foreign culture without going abroad. However, students have to perform their role as volunteers such as picking up at the airport, showing around the school, helping with registering for courses, joining the events hosted by International Affairs team and so on. Application period is March every year, so you had better seize an opportunity.

4. Sungkok Global Ambassador
   There is a public interest of travelling abroad among the university students. To meet the demand, Kookmin University has initiated global projects. Global Ambassador is one of the global projects started in the year 2006 whereof students make their own team and select the topic, and visit overseas universities or institutions based on their plan. This enables students to acquire global mind and competitiveness. Selected teams should perform an official activity in each country for more than 10 days during the summer vacation and afterwards this will be a memory of special overseas trip. School awards a scholarship according to the country or region and awards a winning team when the activity is completed. Application period is every April. 5. Fine Arts Theater on Wednesdays & Special lecture on Thursdays
   Fine Arts Theater whereof students can feel Kookmin University full of arts offers plays, musicals and concerts at no cost. This is only possible for Kookmin University students and they can enjoy all the valuable performances without paying money and without going out to the suburb. Usually, students should make a reservation on the internet, but there are cases where tickets are being distributed on the spot by order of arrival. Let us enjoy fine arts theater on a boring Wednesday with nothing to do.
   Every Thursday, domestic or overseas celebrities from all walks of life are being invited and students get an opportunity to have a class together as their one day professor. Celebrities such as Shin Aera, Son Mina, Jin Chungkwon, Chang Kwanghyo, Lee Sooman, Kong Jiyoung, Son Seokhee, and Keum Nansae have already delivered a lecture as one day professor. Students can earn one credit and anybody can apply for it every semester. Video lecture is also available on Kookmin University website for those who regretfully missed the chance.

6. Others
   
   • Students with confidence in English should challenge to Exchange Student. International Affairs team selects students and sends them to either the United States of America or Australia. Also, each college selects exchange students and those being selected as exchange students enroll in Kookmin University and get credits from sister school and according to school regulations, credits can be admitted as major or optional course.
   • Club activity can also be a way of enjoying the school. School provides theater and room for each club and encourages clubs to be active.
   • Being well informed of school facilities is one of the smart ways to enjoy the school. Let us be bright enough to be fully aware of the location and usage of art gallery, Sungkok library, internet café, theater, gymnasium, and lounge and enjoy them as much as we like.
   • Watching graduation fashion show or design, fine arts and graduation exhibition at Kookmin University whose awareness is being raised will certainly improve our standard.
