The AI Design Lab and the Department of AI Design (Advisor: Professor Ju Da Young) at Kookmin University’s Graduate School of Techno-Design (President Jeong Seung Ryul) collaborated with KT’s Marketing Team (Team Leader Kang Shin-hyuk) to produce generative AI-based video content that was broadcast during the home opener of the KT Wiz professional baseball team. This project was carried out as part of the “Automated Production of AI Partner Graphic Content for the KT Wiz’s 2026 Season” initiative. The content was displayed at the actual game venue via the media wall and media facade at Suwon KT Wiz Park, serving as a prime example of the practical use and on-site application value of generative AI-based content. It is also significant that faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduates collaborated with a professional sports team to plan and produce content specifically for on-site application.

The project was organized into a Prompt Team, an AI Video Production Team, and an AI Video Editing Team, with each team enhancing the quality of the content through seamless collaboration. The Prompt Team designed prompts that reflected the atmosphere and visual direction requested by the club, and the AI Video Production Team used these prompts to generate various video sources. Subsequently, the AI Video Editing Team refined the generated content to suit the stadium’s broadcast environment, completing the final product.

In addition, students from the AI Design Lab participated in an on-site meeting with representatives from KT’s Marketing Division to share their project results and discuss potential uses for the content as well as future possibilities. Through this, the students gained an understanding of the actual needs of the industry and gained hands-on experience with the practical process of creating generative AI-based content.

This achievement serves as a testament to the AI Design Lab’s capabilities in planning and producing generative AI-based content, as well as its practical applicability in the field. The project will run from December 2025 to July 2026, and in addition to the opening exhibition, various research findings for the summer season are scheduled to be implemented in the field. Professor Ju Da-young, who led the research team, stated, “This project demonstrates that the university’s generative AI-based content can be commercially implemented and utilized in real-world settings,” adding, “Moving forward, we will continue to expand our collaboration with various industrial sectors based on our generative AI-based design research and content production capabilities.”
