Jeong gu-min, professor of electronics engineering at Kookmin University, received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Award for his outstanding contributions to future mobility.

Prof. Jeong has been working to foster future mobility talents by carrying out major national tasks at the university, including autonomous driving technology development and policy establishment, automotive artificial intelligence (AI), software (SW), and electronic control unit (ECU).

In particular, he serves as a member of the MOLIT Mobility Forum's Autonomous Driving Subcommittee and an advisory professor at Autonomous Autonomous Technology, a representative company of autonomous driving in Korea.

In addition, he has served as an outside director of Hyundai Autoever and Humax, as well as an advisory professor of Hyundai Kepico and Carnevi Mobility, and has attracted and operated research centers of global companies such as Infineon, Germany, and Garrett Motion, Switzerland.

"As the convergence between autonomous driving and ICT technologies is important, we will do our best to conduct joint research with industry and reflect policies," said Jeong.
