Kookmin University (PresidentJEONG, SEUNG RYUL) signed an agreement with Mega Study Education Co. Ltd. on Monday (September 9) for the Mega Foundation Course (MFC) program, which aims to attract global talent in line with the Ministry of Education's 'Study Korea 300K' project. The agreement aims to admit 20-30 outstanding overseas students to Kookmin University every semester, with plans to gradually expand the program in the future.

The Ministry of Education's Study Korea 300K project is a strategic plan to attract 300,000 foreign students to Korea by 2030, and this agreement is expected to play an important role in realizing this national goal. Through the MFC program, selected international students will be admitted to Kookmin University's business school to pursue their academic and career development, including studies and internships, while MegaStudy Education will provide administrative support for visa issuance and academic environment to help them complete their studies successfully. 

This collaboration will not only attract top talent, but will also play an important role in preventing international student attrition. Through the MFC program, MegaStudy Education plans to provide adaptability measures to help students successfully adapt to life in Korea and complete their studies. In particular, support for majors that require Korean language skills will be considered.

Through this agreement, Kookmin University plans to not only attract global talent, but also to expand the program beyond 20-30 students in the long term, so that students from various countries can study at Kookmin University.
