Kookmin University (President Jeong Seung Ryul) will hold an admission information session for the College of Art and Design (Dean Jang Jung Sik) on Saturday, July 27, at 2 p.m. in the Kookmin University Concert Hall.

The presentation will be held for high school students, parents, teachers, and admissions officials who are interested in applying to the College of Fine Arts' nine majors, and will provide detailed information on the College of Fine Arts' major accomplishments and vision, entrance examination methods and results, explanations and directions for each year's practical examination questions, and the introduction of Kookmin's self-selection system for majors. In addition, a Q&A session will be organized for parents and students to answer any questions they may have.

In addition, as KU will introduce a free choice of major (hereinafter referred to as non-major) for the incoming class of 2025 (rolling and regular), various entrance examination strategies (non-practical examination, curriculum-based examination, and how to apply for 100% SAT) will be introduced in detail. Kookmin University selects the largest number and percentage of non-majors among major universities in the Seoul metropolitan area, and is characterized by its ability to select majors in a variety of academic fields, including the arts.

Those who wish to participate in the information session can register through online pre-application for 15 days from July 8 (Mon) to July 22 (Mon), and on-site registration is also available on the day of the information session. However, online pre-registration is limited to the first 800 participants, and on-site registration may not be possible if there are a large number of pre-registrants, so it is recommended to apply in advance.
