Kookmin University concluded an MOU last May 28th with Zhejiang Gongshang University to accelerate academic exchange and cooperation between the two universities. In this event, Kookmin University President Ji-soo Yu was represented by Dean Hun-tae Kim of the Graduate School of Total Arts and Professors Hee-joon Lee and Seung-ho Yang of the Arts Conservatory. On the other hand, Zhejiang Gongshang University was represented by its President, Vice-president Wenzhan Dai, Dean Chengwu Song of International Exchange Division, Secretary Aixin Guo of School of Japanese Language and Culture, and Dean Baoping Wang of School of Japanese Language and Culture. Both parties affirmed their commitment to the MOU.
Through this MOU, Kookmin University and Zhejiang Gongshang University agreed on consistent mutual cooperation in the following areas:
• faculty exchange; 
• student exchange; 
• exchange of academic references, publications, and information; and
• active participation and support in opening the Department of Korean Language in the School of Japanese Language and Culture in Zhejiang Gongshang University.
