The event began withprofessor Jong Ki Park's narrative on the memorial hall, which exhibitsthe articles left after Sungkok died, items in his own handwriting, and medals received during his lifetime; all describing his career and life in detail.Despite Sir Sungkok'sworld renowned, remarkable cement business, he always led a thrifty life and made a good impression on people around him. He never thought thatthe property from his business was separate from the property of his nation. He who experienced the grief of a nation under Japanese occupation thought we needed to cultivate people of talent for retaining and developing our nation and people.
