Kookmin University is located at the foot of Mt. Bukhan. A great many students are depressed due to lack of proper places to hang around nearby school. There is a joke that the restaurant Songbaek is the Outback Steakhouse to be found within the school zone. Ha-ha, it is just too ‘green campus’!

However, take note of this! We can have a date either with friends or girlfriends/boyfriends with just 10,000 won! Privilege of having a romantic date is possible only on green campus at Kookmin University!

To the “happiness of 10,000 won”!

1.      Let’s choose food with 5,000 won at the cafeteria in the College of Law or student cafeteria!

Choosing fried rice garnished with tobiko from today’s menu. Choosing delicious-looking Korean shish kebab. Restaurant Hanwul, located at the first basement level of College of Law, is a perfect place for the students who had late breakfast and just want to have a snack. Korean snack food such as Tteokbokki, Sundae, Kimbab and noodles will surely satisfy the hunger.

2.      Complimentary movie on the <5^th floor of Sungkok Library> or nd floor of the College of Art>

We get too sleepy in the class right after having lunch. On a drowsy afternoon, class is already over after dozing off. Three hours left before the next class starts! What shall we do? Reading books in the library and dropping by club rooms. Clock keeps ticking.

If you have a lot of free time, please go to the multi media center on the 5^th floor of Sungkok Library or the video/audio library on the 2^nd floor of the College of Art. You can spend 2 hours by searching the movie you want on the Sungkok Library website and relax there after showing the student ID card.

Tip: There is a movie showing in the multi media room on the 5^th floor of the library every Friday, so check out the movie schedule!

3.      3,400 won Ice-cream waffle in the College of Engineering

If you are hungry after seeing a movie, but it is not the right time for a meal, then ice-cream waffle in the College of Engineering is perfect for you.

Waffle to be found at the terrace of the College of Engineering has a rich whipped cream and ice-cream with an unbelievable price of 3,400 won. We do not need a waffle at BinsXX which is 10,000 won each. Two or four people can simply enjoy the waffle at Kookmin University that will present sweetness at the price of 3,400 won!

4.      A choice solely for green campus!! -Sungkok Hill

Now, Mt. Bukhan has beautifully been colored. Kookmin University is magnificently embroidered with colors of spring and colors of fall. We eat Jajangmyeon or pork hocks with soju fully enjoying the nature at the same time. Time to time, this place can be a suitable place for a date.

If you follow the staircase at the back of the university statue, Yongduri, you will find , one of our prides. Actually, there is a hiding place at a byway of Sungkok Hill whereof not many people are well aware of. Couples at Kookmin University should take note of this place with just a bench standing by itself in the woods. However, we should be cautious when selecting the time-zone to visit there because after this article is published, it is highly expected that an astonishing number of couples might flock to this place.

5.      Beautiful night view of Seoul! Elevator at Bugak Hall

The operating hour is shorter than that of cable cars at Namsan, but this place can be used free of charge. After having glass elevator at Bugak Hall, a lot of students have been recommending a restaurant or a café on the 14^th floor. We should not miss the night view of Seoul, a privilege solely for Kookmin University. You will enjoy a good atmosphere after getting coffee from the vending machine and get on an elevator.

Lunch (5,000 won at most) + Movie (Complimentary) + Waffle (3,400 won) + Sungkok Hill (No charge) +Elevator at Bugak Hall (No charge) +Coffee from vending machine (1,500 won at most)
