Professor Hyun Ki Kim of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering received a commendation from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in recognition of his contribution to the field. Since August 2009, Professor Kim has been opening new classes in overseas construction management, overseas plant construction technology, business English for overseas construction, and Arab cultural studies as part of the specialized university project for overseas construction - dedicating his work to nurturing new professionals in the field of overseas construction.
