For the last 61years, the “Mossbauer Effect”has been a study technique to observe nuclear resonance using the isotope of gamma rays,which was founded byscientist Mossbauerof Germany, who was awarded the Nobel prize in physics.This is a necessarynew technology study techniqueusingdiverseknowledgeand the most exact testingequipment that a mankind can experiment with, and it can be the second plan for covering the uncertainty principle of scientist Heisenberg. This technology is also more in the limelight in this field of study in the international society because it was the technology which contributed to the scientific study of theexistence of water on Mars through loading the Mossbauer spectroscopein the satellite and mars probe.
Professor Kim,Chul-Sungwas registered in the CentreClub as the firstKorean in2002 and received an honor certificate which is given to scientists who published over onehundred theses connected with the international academic journal from the Mossbauer Effect Data Center, MEDC (recently moved from America to China) which is the best in this field. He succeed to go into the top 10 ranking by ranking 9th by publishing his Mossbauer theses about lithium secondary batteries, oxide antennas, rare earth magnets, magnetic nanoparticles, magnetoresistance, ferrite, etc. during the pastten years.
Prof. Kim published about 350 theses in SCI which have received much recognition as well as being selected to the cover of the MEDC journal in 2002. Also, in early January, 2013, he participated in the 12th Joint MMM-IntermagConference (Chicago, USA), which is the international conference run by AIP and IEEE and published 14 thesesrelated to the Mossbauer study.
Prof. Kim applied for a patent in Korea for a studyabout a mysteriousGoryeo celadon depending on theunearthing of theelement ratio between soil and glaze(oxidized steel) though the Goryeo celadon of the Mossbauer study and as a legacy study of Goryeo celadon,through an exact excavation area, the distinction between truth and false, color, years, and areas depending on a fixed element ratio between soil and glaze.
Meanwhile he produced an exterior magnetic field of the Mossbauer spectroscope where a temperature experiment is possible from -269 degrees Celsius to normal temperaturesthrough the creation of a superconducting magnet,and by using a precision refrigeration machine.He thenapplied for patents in America, Japan and China.
Prof. Kim emphasized his desire to build a MossbauerCenter in Korea for supporting studies of industry-academic cooperation, and said we need to apply the Mossbauer Effect to academic studies as well as tonew technology like nuclear resonance, material engineering and space-air.
