Lee Woo-jin, a professor at the College of Business Administration at Kookmin University, was inaugurated as the 18th president of the Korea Venture Business Association at the association's regular general meeting on Friday, January 17. The term of office is one year.

The Korean Venture Business Association was established in 2006 as a representative academic research organization in the field of domestic entrepreneurship. Its 1,600 members and 365 executives are conducting specialized research on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship, contributing to the development of domestic entrepreneurship policies, startup innovation, and entrepreneurship education. The association publishes the academic journal Venture Business Research six times a year, which is listed in the Korea Research Foundation.

Professor Lee Woo-jin said, “We will expand our qualitative research on various start-up cases to faithfully serve as a bridge between academia and industry,” and “We will hold the spring academic conference in April in the form of an integrated academic conference in cooperation with other academic societies related to the start-up field, and strengthen academic exchanges and networks in the domestic start-up field to promote opportunities for convergence and development.”
