Seung-Joo Myung, Yurim Ahn, and Sung-Won Lee, Ph.D. students in the Department of Intelligent Semiconductor and Display at the Graduate School of General Studies, won the Best Poster Award at the Korea Semiconductor Conference held from February 13 to 15 at the Haiwon Convention Tower in Gangwon-do.
Myungju Myung, a Ph.D. student in the Semiconductor and Integrated Circuits Laboratory (S!LK, silk.kookmin.ac.kr) in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Graduate School of General Studies, has been a core researcher in government and industry projects, and has contributed to establishing transistor processes and next-generation semiconductor device processes in the newly established soft device fab on the 5th floor of the Kookmin University Industry-Academia Cooperation Center.
In addition, Lee Sung-won and Ahn Yoo-rim graduated from the Semiconductor and Integrated Circuits Laboratory in February 24, 2014, after receiving their bachelor's degrees from Kookmin University's Department of Electronic Engineering, and joined SAMSUNG and LG Display.
The Korea Semiconductor Conference is the largest semiconductor conference in Korea, and this year's 30th edition was jointly organized by SK hynix, the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, and the Korea Semiconductor Research Association.
