“First of all, we would like to thank you for voting. Thanks to your precious vote, we can take our place as your student council. As an independent student organization, we will protect the value of all votes. We will never forget the 35 pledges of 6 fields, 5 keynotes, and direction we laid out during the election campaign and promise to keep the same mindset that we started with. Furthermore, we would like to make the following promises to Kookmin University (KMU) students.
First, we will do our best to look into all fields and current problems. Second, we will not focus on certain pending problems or interests and will always examine our failures and work to do better. Third, we will make practical changes and improvements and strive to be the student council that KMU students want. Fourth, we will diverge from the customs of previous student councils so as not to repeat their mistakes and preserve their good results. Lastly, we will always listen carefully to the voices of students and take an approach in advance.
We, Point, feel a huge responsibility to the 88 percent of students who voted for us, which is the best result in a student council election ever. To live up to students’ expectations of trust and opportunity, we will keep that result in mind and achieve satisfying results as a student council. We are now about to make significant changes on the basis of your precious votes. We will consistently prepare policies, projects, and student welfare and show you the results. Point will always stand with you to make a better student society. Thank you once again.”
