The second step of BK21’sactivity (World Class University Foster Project) was a national research development business hosted by the National Science & Technology Commission and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and was graded based on each team's achievement for six years(from March 1, 2006 to February 29, 2012).
This grade was decided upon after experts’ examination and deliberation of the BK21 steering committee’s approval. It also evaluates the achievement of each business team based on the goals given by the government. Major achievements, such as job and thesis, increase and decrease in quality during the 6 years and the qualitative excellence of each representative sample were reflected in theexamination.
