KMU’sGraduate School of Automotive Engineering held a ceremony of conclusion to exchange various auto parts with AutoCRC, an automobile research organization in Australia, at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia on July 7th.
Matthew Cuthbertson, the President of Australia’s AutoCRC and Kookminprofessors Cho Yong Seok, Choi andWoongChulwere among those who attended the ceremony. In addition, eight automobile and parts manufacturers, two branch government officers and ten research centers attended.
They are planning to cooperative closelyin new development through automobile research and education, cooperation invarious auto parts improvement, development of electric automobiles, and substitute gas.
AutoCRC was founded to secure Australia’s status in the world’s automobile business as a part of their country's strategy. It is Australia’s main institution working in various fields of activity in education, development, research, and communication in relation to the automobile.
Before the conclusion, Kookmin University’s visiting group attended an AutoCRC conference through the invitation of Victoria’s government office and introduced a road map of Korea’s automobile industry as well as theGraduate School of Automotive Engineering of Kookmin University.
