Kookmin University (President Lee, Sung Woo) starts “SERIKMU”, a program connected to private think tank at the first Samsung Economic Research Institute.
Kookmin University opened the SERIKMU service containing a variety of content from SERICEO, which is used by twelve thousand people and the CEO of domestic major corporations and is utilized in the university’s business department classes.
For SERIKMU, plans are being made to gather the newest information and materials to create lectures and a curriculum. Students can acquire vivid content connected to their major outside the classroom wherever they connect online.
Kookmin University is planning to develop SERIKMU as a model for new college education connected to business in the classroom. A college of 8 subjects is the first step of the plan.
They will also expand SERIKMU service to all fields such as cultural
subjects, subjects of liberal arts, society, physics, arts and physical
education in order to utilize content of various SERICEO economics, management,
culture and art and to foster creative vision and the ability of complex
thinking.
