Pebbles, an artificial intelligence and big data startup, announced that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kookmin University's College of Software Convergence for the development of software talent and industry-academia cooperation.

Under this agreement, Pebbles will support Kookmin University in diagnosing and improving the quality of data using the 'Data Clinic' service. The Data Clinic uses artificial intelligence technology to measure the quality of large data, including coverage, density, and bias, and provides the results in a diagnostic report. The service will be used in various ways, including data refinement and AI model development for undergraduate education at the Kookmin University College of Software Convergence, and data diagnosis projects and quality improvement for research.

In addition, Kookmin University and Pebbles will continue to collaborate on various projects, including developing and operating a university-industry joint problem-solving curriculum, learning artificial intelligence models, developing a competition platform for holding hackathons and datathons related to data quality evaluation and improvement, operating problem-solving R&D projects and long-term and short-term visit/internship programs, and conducting university-industry collaborative R&D.

In particular, it will actively cooperate in attracting outstanding overseas talent and fostering human resources based on industry-academia cooperation through the operation of long-term and short-term visit/internship programs for foreign students, including GKS government-invited students, and education and training programs to support employment and entrepreneurship.
