The College of Kinesiology (Dean Cho Wook-yeon) supports children's health promotion programs through a business agreement with the Amway Future Foundation of Korea, and to strengthen its social contribution capabilities, it signed an additional business agreement with HDC Resorts for the 'Children's Health Promotion Social Contribution' and held a 'Pickleball Experience' class at Oak Valley Pickleball Park on Saturday, November 2.

The event was even more meaningful as the children who participated expressed their gratitude for the program, saying that they were happy to learn and enjoy pickleball. Professor Mi-Hyang Kim (Department of Sports Industry and Leisure), who participated in the event, said that pickleball, which is widely known as Bill Gates' favorite sport, is a racquet sport with a rapidly growing number of participants around the world, and is expected to grow in popularity because it is easy to learn and enjoy and has good exercise effects, and recommended that people should try it if they have the opportunity. The College of Sports will continue to actively participate in ESG activities to improve child health with partner organizations and strive to expand the social value of sports.
