Kookmin University Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship and Venture (Dean KIM, Dohyeon) announced that it held a successful 10th anniversary event on September 7, 2024 at the President Hotel. Kookmin University's Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship and Venture is a specialized graduate school for entrepreneurship that has been cultivating professionals in the field of entrepreneurship, and this event was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the past 10 years and share its vision for the future.

The 10th anniversary event began with an opening ceremony, and various programs were held, including a 10th anniversary video screening, introduction of participants, congratulatory speeches, a development fund transfer ceremony, and a 10th anniversary award ceremony. In particular, an expert lecture on insights into the future of entrepreneurship in the AI era by author Gil Young Song attracted great interest from attendees, and a networking event with alumni and current students of Kookmin University's Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship and Venture Management actively exchanged various opinions and information within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Kookmin University's Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship and Venture is recruiting new students for its Master of Science in Electrical Engineering program for the academic year 2025. The recruitment period is from September 30, 2024 to October 15, 2024, and the selection method is document screening (30%), academic plan (40%), and interview (30%).

Kookmin University's Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship and Venture has expanded from the previous four tracks of incubation investment, entrepreneurship education, venturing, and ESG social venture to operate six tracks, including the AI Business Innovation Track and the Entrepreneur Track from 2024.

Faculty members who combine theory and practice in the field of entrepreneurship will provide systematic education, and all selected freshmen will receive a small amount of on-campus scholarships.

In particular, Kookmin University provides a variety of support systems for graduate students who are preparing to start their own business, and actively supports the infrastructure and resources necessary for entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Kookmin University Incubator Center, Campus Town Business Center, and Eunpyeong-gu Entrepreneurship Support Center.
