Kookmin University (President Jeong Seung Ryul) Career Development Support Center (Director Son Jin Sik, hereinafter referred to as the "Career Development Support Center") signed a business agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center on Monday, April 22, to interconnect youth policies. The Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center is a merger of the former Seoul Youth Activity Support Center and the Youth Hub, and supports the operation of 15 regional Seoul Youth Centers. With this agreement, the two organizations promised to mutually promote and collaborate to help unemployed youth participate in various youth policies, including career and employment counseling and educational programs. 

The collaboration will begin with Kookmin University's participation in the 2024 Youth Policy Fair (April 29-30, DDP Art Hall 2), where Kookmin University's Career Development Support Group will provide career and employment-related counseling services to young adults, and will operate various programs at the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center, including monthly and quarterly "self-introduction interview clinics," "self-discovery workshops," and "expert lectures" for unemployed local youth. 

Kookmin University, which was re-selected as a University JobPlus Center (base type) by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in 2024, expects that this agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Center, which supports the operation of Seoul Youth Centers in 15 regions, will help to promote and expand participation in specialized programs designed and operated by the branches for unemployed youth.
