The LINC 3.0 Project of Kookmin University (President JEONG, SEUNG RYUL) announced that it held the inauguration ceremony of the second batch of community co-creation researchers at the Kookmin University Headquarters on the 13th.

The inauguration ceremony included an orientation explaining the various regionally tailored human resource development programs that the community symbiosis researchers will participate in as community symbiosis researchers, as well as a ceremony to award certificates to the community symbiosis researchers.

Twelve students were selected as the second batch of Community Mutual Benefit Researchers through fierce competition from various departments and majors, including public administration and bio-medicine. The selected students will participate in various activities such as research for community value creation and regional development, education on ESG business models, and regular forums on community win-win, in which the university and the local community connect and collaborate.

"In order for the community to develop sustainably, universities need to actively participate in activating the learning community of local residents, and students, who are the owners of the university, need to be more interested in and involved in the community," said Ha Hyun-sang, director of the Community Mutual Benefit Center (Kookmin University Graduate School of Public Administration). "The diverse experiences and education of students for community development will provide a great opportunity for students to develop their problem-solving capabilities and lay the foundation for win-win cooperation between universities and communities."

The second round of the program is scheduled to run until September this year, and the third round of the program will be recruited in August.
