The University Innovation Support Project focuses on nurturing future talent and enhancing the quality of college education through autonomous innovation by universities. After being selected for the PILOT operation, which assessed the university's overall performance in areas like development plans, education, management, and finance, KMU has consistently maintained high evaluations, even in the second period of the project for 2022-2024.
Currently, 117 universities are participating in the government-sponsored University Innovation Support Project. As per the project's proposal, universities awarded an 'S grade' in the innovation category can receive an incentive of 129 billion won, along with an additional 500 billion won to support future innovation plans.
KMU received high praise not only for the effectiveness and results of the education accreditation through the TEAM education accreditation which is KMU's flagship program but also for the alignment of its content with the innovation strategy.
Through this evaluation, KMU plans to accelerate the realization of its medium-to long-term development goals, establishing and disseminating the foundation for nurturing 'TEAM talent' capable of making a global impact through improved systemic governance for the successful implementation of educational innovation.
