The Business Incubation Center of Kookmin University (Director: Professor Yun Hwangbo) was selected as the only startup leading university in the metropolitan area for 2015. Due to the university’s consistent growth, it obtained ‘Grade A’ in the operation evaluation of business incubation centers conducted by the Small and Medium Business Administration (support fund: 54 million Won).

The Business Incubation Center provides services for entrepreneurs who encounter difficulties in commercializing their technologies and ideas due to unsatisfactory business conditions. By offering comprehensive startup support such as technology and management coaching (1:1 mentoring with an expert) for a certain period of time and commercialization support (accounting, taxation, marketing, and patent), the center aims to stimulate startup establishment and eventual success. As of December 31, 2014, approximately 5 billion Won of sales from 34 businesses were achieved.

Moreover, to effectively attract funds and investments for businesses, Investor Relations (IR) are regularly maintained. Through these IR activities, business success is promoted while the network among the businesses of the incubation center is reinforced.

The Business Incubation Center of Kookmin University is exerting efforts to consistently remain as the best Business Incubation Center in Seoul. It aims to achieve 10 billion Won of total sales and to attract 500 million Won worth of investment funding in 2015.
