Concluded an MOU for academic-industrial cooperation Internship program between IBM Korea and Kookmin University

President of Kookmin University Yu Ji-su and President of IBM Korea Shim Yoon-soo signed an MOU for academic-industrial cooperation mainly aimed at cultivating professional manpower for software. Following the conclusion of this MOU, KMU will provide support on every aspect including the opening of customized curriculum required in the program for cultivating software professional manpower, while IBM Korea will be in charge of education of students, development of training program, consulting regarding operation and operational support for the lectures in part.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by President Yu Ji-su, Dean of the College of Business Administration Kim Yong-min, Dean of the College of Electronic, Information, and Communication Ahn Hyeon-sik, Head of Management Dept. Hwang Gyu-yeong, and Head of Management Information Department Park Soo-hyeon on the part of KMU, together with President Lee Seong-yeol, Vice president Park Jeong-hwa, Executive Director Jeong Seong-wuk, Standing Directors Kim Soon-bae and Kim Jae-yeong on the part of IBM Korea.

IBM Korea, an integrated solutions supplier that is engaged in the consulting, software and service business, has been focusing on open-type technology and high value-added solution for the past 40 years.
