PRE-DEPARTURE CHECKLIST
1.
Valid passport with Student Visa
- Obtain a valid student visa from a nearby Korean Embassy or Consulate.
2.
Valid Overseas Student Insurance
- We strongly recommend that all foreign students purchase a medical insurance in their home countries.
3.
Some Local Currency
- Have some Korean Won with you for the transportation fare and telephone calls. Note that some currencies can not be exchanged in Korea.
4.
Appropriate Clothing and Bed sheets
- There ard four seasons in Korea. If a student plans to stay in Korea for more than one year, it is important to bring clothes tor all seasons. In addition, a student should bring Bed sheets to live in the dormitory.
5.
Personal Medicine
- Be sure to bring some personal medicine to Korea. Some medicines are not able to purchase without doctor's prescription.
